At the Competitive Edge Racing School you receive… More than an Experience, because it is REAL Racing! All of the programs at Competitive Edge are designed with racing in mind. You may not be gearing up to be the next NASCAR super star, but you will at least feel that way.
Get a taste of what it is like to be a real race car driver with our Thrill Ride or Thrill Drive. Here you will get 10 thrilling laps around the track to get a taste. You can either “Ride” with an instructor or you can take the wheel and “Drive.”
If you’re ready to go fast… It all starts by attending any one of our (four) Racing Schools where you can learn to race. Your program begins with a two hour classroom session, that is as much about improving your driving skills - as it is about racing. Now you’re ready to get behind the wheel of the 435 horsepower, NASCAR-style late model. With just you in the driver’s seat and no pace car to follow, you get to set the pace with passing allowed, and no-rev limits.
Our ladder process is the first step in your racing career. Whether your racing career is bound for the local short tracks or the high-banks of Daytona; practical experience, seat time, and personal coaching will help get you there.
Our program is the only one in the country designed to teach you how to race, gets you racing “door handle to door handle” with your competition, and offers you the chance to win a full season of racing with our “Test of the Best” event. The Competitive Edge Racing School is conducting it’s annual “Test of the Best” Driver’s Search in May. Every professional team is looking for the next “talented driver” and our program offers you the most affordable entry into professional racing available.
The Test of the Best gives you the opportunity to show us what you’ve got and prove that you are ready to go racing. The participant scoring the most points is awarded a seat in our Championship Race Series for the season.
